The Division of Comparative Medicine (DCM) serves as the primary resource for the care, development and refinement of animal models within the MIT community. Additionally, DCM has a rich history of independent and collaborative research, especially in the fields of infectious disease, the microbiome, and animal model refinement. DCM’s research has had meaningful impact on human and animal health.
